Maverick Steffen grew up in Philadelphia, PA where he developed an early fascination with marketing, often staying up late to watch infomercials and eagerly collecting mail ads.
Following the horrific attacks on 9/11, Maverick took a break from college to "help out" overseas with the Global War on Terror. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2007 as an Infantry SAW Gunner with the 82nd Airborne.
He earned the Combat Infantry Badge and the Army's Commendation Medal for "heroism under fire." Following his return from the Army in 2008, he began attending Rutgers University and graduated in 2011.
In between his studies at Rutgers, Maverick created a series of successful charitable events "just for fun." These included benefit runs for veteran scholarships, toy drives for foster children, and initiatives to assist the homeless population in Camden, NJ.
These events captured the attention of Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) Chairman of the Board, Ronald Rubin, who quickly enlisted Maverick as a marketing consultant.
Maverick's expertise soon became sought after by Politicians, Universities and notable Fortune 500 companies, such as Walmart, CVS Health, Ford Motor and McKesson.
In 2012, Maverick was featured in Forbes as the "#1 Consultant Who Avoids the B.S."
He established his first agency, The Marketing Agency, in 2014 to extend sophisticated, automated marketing strategies to small businesses nationwide.
Today, alongside consulting for Fortune 500 companies and running The Marketing Agency, Maverick prides himself on delivering consistent, effective customer acquisition systems and driving returns for every client he serves.
