Katya Livingston, portrayed by Jennifer Love Hewitt, is a narcissistic social climber in this coming of age tale staged in beautiful San Francisco.

When she's not having sex to gain entry into parties or manufacturing fake college degrees to gain employment, she's dominating the client pitching floor by creating and presenting ad campaigns that both impress the client, and maintain her working independence she happily takes full advantage of like a fat kid with access to a cookie jar.

Clearly this movie was meant to be entertaining, but it also acts as a sort of job fair for those thinking about advertising as a career.

The advertising life is glamorous, affords you plenty of financial freedom and is certainly a game of hurry-up-and-wait. Alas, if you can't summon creativity as easily as pup can pant, than you should consider another line of work.

I don't want to spoil the movie for you, but in the end, you'll find there's a reason you'll enjoy watching Katya, and it's not only because of her well-formed chromosomes or hilarious treatment of rivals.

Katya is a non-apologetic symbol of style and feminism in the competitive world of advertising, and the result is a feel good little movie with the nuances of a Disney film if Disney made films for adults in their 30s.
