Yes, I know it's spelled wrong; take that up with the director.

First and foremost, I think anyone seeking or considering an entrepreneurial path should first watch this movie. Like, now -- right now!

I have never felt the pain, humiliation and agony that comes with starting a business better reflected anywhere else outside of the brilliant acting of Will Smith within this film.

But, that's not what this movie is about. Just the opposite in fact.

This is a coming of age film where Chris Gardner's real life story is portrayed by Smith in an instant inspirational classic.

Chris battles homelessness, racial prejudice (Chris is obviously black), failure as a small business owner, and a divorce all while trying to raise this an little kid, Christopher Jr., played by Will Smith's real son, Jaden Smith.

This gives the film some additional intangible magic.

In the end.... never mind, you haven't see it yet.

The bottom line is if you've ever struggled in business or in your financial life, this movie beautifully recreates every painful emotion, facial expression, doubt and stress-induced paralysis you've ever had.

I remember one time I had no money left for gas to get to a meeting with a prospect, and I couldn't even move for an entire hour I was so defeated.

In the end, I borrowed money. Chris (in the film) took a cab and then took off running!

I'd say this is easily one of the best films I have ever seen. Not only is it touching in the most soul tickling sense, it's also a real lesson for anyone trying to market themselves to reach a higher station in life.
